Assistant Township Manager

Bristol Township, PA is seeking an Assistant Township Manager to join our team. The new Assistant Township Manager will join a diverse and high-functioning executive team. The Assistant Township Managers act as extensions of the Township Manager’s leadership, and it is paramount that the working relationship with the Township Manager be one of deep trust, transparency, and collaboration.

 

Bristol Township is Bucks County’s second largest municipality and the only first-class Township. Approximately 53,556 people live within the 17.2 square miles of Bristol Township. Bristol Township is in a strong financial position, with a balanced budget and fully funded reserves. The overall budget is $68.3 million, with a General Fund budget of $28 million. Bristol Township is a Manager-Council form of government with seven (7) elected officials that have transformed Bristol Township into a thriving community.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or Human Resource Management or closely related field from an accredited College or University and five (5) years’ experience in Local Government Management is required. The annual salary range for the Assistant Township Manager is $100,000 to $120,000; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience. Park Staff Employees

2024 Seasonal Spray Park Attendant
Bristol Township Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for seasonal employment for a Spray Park Attendant from May to September 2024. Applications can be downloaded by clicking here. This seasonal position is responsible for maintaining water features, cleaning filters, monitoring and adjusting water chemistry and various tasks involving the upkeep of the water park and pump house. Applicants should have knowledge of day-to-day operations maintaining a pool along with prior pool and chemical experience.  Attendants needed for evening shifts on weekdays from 4pm to 8pm and weekend shifts from 9am to 8pm for full hours opening of spray park. Shift hours will depend on the number of applications received. The rate of pay is $17.00 per hour.
